Nice, what size tyres are they currently, they look massive? Currently rebuilding a road frame version

Picked up a battered Trek alpha 1.9 to build for my brother, the forks are in bad shape with wheel rub on both sides (!). I've stripped the paint back to have a look as it was in terrible shape anyway. On one side it's gone through the carbon, does this look terminal? Have some nasty steel forks that weigh about 3x as much as the frame if so

terminal?
Only for anybody who rides it in that condition.

Love these, is it a 26er?

I love the colour - what RAL is it?
It looks like the rake of your forks is not right, unless the photo angle plays visual tricks.
That front tyre should nearly be touching the downtube.

Hi, yes 26” wheels! Exotic fork, Surly Singleator, running 32:16.
Great ride, I love it!

Anyone got any loctite suitable for a bottom bracket in the n19 or surrounding postcodes that they coule lend/give/buy? Dreaded italian thread bb issue of cups unscrewing after x amount of miles on my mates bike

It's not NOS but it's well kept. Some storage marks and some small scrapes but pretty mint.
Is that album ‘the right stuff’ ?
Keen eye, it is indeed. Bin find. Just for the Sueno Latino track. I wish it was the extended :)

It is not RAL, it is "absinthe metallic C99", a car coating used by Renault from 1999 to 2003. The coating contains a lot of metal flakes, wich are the reason why the dents in the frame look more impressive than they really are.
@rake of the fork
Yes, there is plenty of room between the tyre and the downtube (25mm), I need to fix it....
Built up a 26” wheelset to replace the 700c that were on my GT.
Fixed / free rear and dynamo front.
First time setting up a U brake and a bit worried about tyre clearance. might downsize to 2”, which will hopefully leave some room for mudguards too...
Tried out the original stem as well but the rise is absurd! Will keep it on for a bit but do like to have a bit of saddle to bar drop :)
