I was wondering if that was a known individual from the forum!

Whatever next, overdrive in the TLS?

LRB, what's that?
London Rad Ball, the fanzine of the new London polo association.

@Oliver Schick at the southern junction of London Bridge - DAS!
-
• #79831
That was probably me. Hi.

I was on a BMX with a kid. She didn't warm to the idea of doing reps, so we tootled off again to the big door round the corner.
Probably see you down there again soon

• #79833
Surely it's Rad Ball London?
-
• #79834
@Oliver Schick yesterday in Dalston by the Brewdog, precisely where I last saw him about four months ago.

-
• #79837
Ha, I knew I knew you, but simply didn't recognise you--then again, I probably last saw you eight years or so ago, and pre-beard! Hello!
-
• #79838
Didn't see you, but it's hard at 88mph. Shout next time!
-
• #79839
I did, but a little late. You turned your head, so maybe just registered in your subconscious...
-
• #79840
I thought I heard a shout a little further up, near the Hackney Peddler. Was it there?
-
• #79841
Don’t know the area that well, but you were just pulling away from traffic lights.
-
• #79842
That must have been at the A10/Crossway/Shacklewell Lane junction, then. I'd assume that I turned my head because I checked behind before setting off from the junction. I definitely didn't hear you there. Next time!

@Clockwise on Streatham High Road, who stopped on his cargo bike for a chat when he saw me inspecting the tires of my cargo bike. Mate, after you left I discovered what really makes a recumbent cargo bike suck at pulling a heavy load uphill: some bugger scattering drawing pins in the road. Had to fix multiple punctures.
-
• #79849
Oh shit. On a Brox, no less. How bizarre to scatter drawing pins on a street in London.

I wouldn't be surprised if some lockdown-bored prick who lives looking directly onto Brixton Hill (where, I realised afterwards, I must have run over the tacks) is trying to make his own entertainment.
Nodded to someone riding that pink and purple Peugeot track frame in Bethnal green that sold recently, lovely bike
