Also, I ordered a scuf recently, should arrive later in the month. A new headset had already got me feeling like I'm on God mode, and thats with a faulty controller (right stick drifts to the left 🤬) will report back when I'm sliding like a pro

Ah - I've been looking at scuf. It's annoying because the official Sony buttons look exactly what I want but they're game exclusive & game are a)useless and b)closed.

I'd rather pay 25 over the scuf price but needs must!

I know what you mean about he headsets - I'm just using some music recording headphones so nothing too spectacular but it's great to be able to tell direction & some distance of the sounds - you can tell when you're watching someone that isn't wearing them because they miss so much!

I thought the obsidian Camo is an excellent mechanism to get people back playing multiplayer instead of BR. Im tempted, to do this with striker 45 as its got me through many wins in BR but the grind is long man.

I only thought about the back panels last week and was immensely disappointed to discover they are sold out everywhere. My strongest opponent is the one who can crouch/jump whilst simultaneously aiming and firing so feel I have to join them with the paddles.
Ive seen some listed as new on amazon for £100 and have second thought it at least twice

I've just realised how easy it is to get gold and obsidian on the shield, my next grind!

I saw the seller on Amazon but am refusing to play that game - I'd rather spend a little more on the scuf than give a gouger a huge profit!

I've only got gold on an smg as I very rarely play for long shots - I should try and get an assault rifle over the line so I can use it in WZ

Tho, I was completely ready to buy a scuf or Razer until I discovered you can't use headphones in wireless mode which makes the setup a bit unusable for me.

New internet is in - the horrible lag has gone (especially when other people are using the internet too), I haven't gotten magically better though! Last 3 games have been 9th, 10th & 11th (trio's/quads with randoms).

More practice needed!

I had some awful games yesterday mostly because of the trios I was in. Need to try solos.

Solos is awful to the point of being unplayable. Whole map full of people sitting in dark corners pre-aiming the door.

I do keep trying it because you'd think it would be better than depending on strangers but it's really not - the games are really slow because no one is moving or trying anything, then you decide to move through the map & get shot in the back by someone hiding in completely obscure buildings. The winners are the people that guess lucky at the start and landed on the building the the final circle ends up on.

Do any of you folk of the gaming thread have any inside knowledge as to when Nintendo Switches (full fat not lite) might be back in stock in the UK?

Finally got my mic working so I can yell at people. Crowning glory last night was when I went to help out someone on the team who'd got into it and I died right after I rez'd him. He picked up all my money and we were right next to a buy station... so he bought his loadout and buggered off.

Have won nearly 10 solos and think the key is:

1. recon contracts to know where the game is likely to end,
   
2. getting an overkill loadout
   
3. then swapping to ghost but retaining an agressive close to mid range weapon and a stronger long distance weapon.
   
4. Then you don’t want to goto the final circle early but approach it from
   high ground with the gas on your back.
   Doesn’t always work out but when the circle ends in the open you’ve cleared other people in the open and just have the campers to emerge and pick off. Normally use a striker 45 with hollow points to do that, can crack their armour in a two shot burst and down them in the next.

On that subject, this new found obsession has got me interested in twitch for the first time. The people on there are ridiculous but sadly it seems that I've hit my skill cap, I can't seem to win anymore, it's tempting to blame it on changes I made to my loadouts but the players im facing are much better to be honest

I need to give Warzone a few more bashes... on the Discord if anyone else is about next week...

Now to...? Toying with the idea of replaying Skyrim.

You can never go wrong with Skyrim! Just play as a totally different character to what you last played as and it's a totally different game.

Didn't regret a single one.

I'm nearing the end now, enjoying this section with just androids, the alien is awesome but just too gad damn scary :')

Playing on my laptop. Steam tells me I have 305 hours sunk into it when I first played. Always have trouble avoiding the sneaky archer!

Yes - fully brown trousered. Music / sound effects are a masterpiece. I was playing it on hard and the last few sections were bastard hard on that setting for me. Those working joes are pretty terrifying too.

Might break it out on the switch again soon. A tiny bit ashamed to say i've sunk 135 hours into Animal Crossing so far since it came out in March. Filthy casual.
