I really want to ride this at the weekend, but it's not essential travel and I really can't pretend that it is:

Someone definitely chimed in when I was asking about it saying they had one...I'm sure 🤔

Has anyone actually seen if they exist in real life? Just sayin

All of LFGSS is just a figment of your imagination. Time to wake up, go out and talk to real people. Before it’s too late.

Whilst maintaining a 2M separation.

I'll do it and let you know what it's like

Yeah, I've seen one in the wild, it was being ridden by a kid.
It's the kind of bike a bloke buys when they've just dropped £4000 on a Santa Cruz and remembered they were supposed to actually be buying their kid/wife a bike

Hah, fair enough. If you follow the direction that I go then you'll have a pleasant spin along quiet roads followed by the SDW back to Petersfield.

Have you ever even looked at any proper EWS courses?
If you're using BPW as a barometer for the state of British off piste trails you're way fucking off.
I can take you to multiple places in the U.K. where an enduro bike is justified. Just give me a shout.I'd be happy to help.

I hear that Epping Forest is on the cards for EWS in 2021.

Off to buy a 2017 Orange p7 frame for the mrs today I think. Good deal locally, getting a pair of nice hope wheels with it too. Seems well reviewed when it came out. Only potential issue is its 142mm rear spacing but I'm going to ignore this unless someone can convince me 142mm hubs are going out of production. Front wheel hub is 110mm so fork choice is not limited which seems like it would be a bigger issue than the rear spacing.

I like the look of these, pictures when you get it please. What colour?

I was imagining something like a combination of these two:

With maybe some of this thrown in:

But without the road bits linking sections up.
But have I ever ridden an EWS course? No, I haven't.
I am, however, able to tell the difference between a bike park and not a bike park - typically one has a cafe.

They might be out of fashion on mtbs, but gravel bikes use them, so you should be ok :-)

Orange. An orange orange.

Great, thanks.

Bonus points!

hope wheels
Hope have a bigger range of 142 spaced wheels anyway as they do the straight pull hubs in 142 but not 148

Here's one, just picked it up. It's very orange!

Yeah nice, looks to be in good condition.
Similar geo to the Crush right?
I was considering the P7 before I settled on the Crush -
• #16248
Yeah, they go on about the similarities between the two on the website. Are you happy with the crush?
-
• #16249
Umm, still building it haha
Waiting on a fork and seatpost, need to collect some wheels, and then I have most of the bikeWas out on my bmx today, can't wait to start doing manuals on the Crush

Yeah think they share the same geometry actually. Incidentally I was looking at the P7 before the crush they had a blue one in the sale on the Orange website that was with in my budget, but then I saw the crush was £400 cheaper and the only differences being the frame and the dropper so went for that.
Are you waiting for covid to be over for these wheels?
Has anyone actually ridden one though?
