@openshrine @radiobomb73 @Félin
Had this thread open for a little while now, nothing happened those days, I keep bike’s project for the cold days..
Still feel ashame of my unbuild LaFraise classes frameset..
@Pawlus well the De Rosa is in @gaston hands now, save it from an Ukrainian velodrome and build it once was enough for me, and I know it has a good home..!At the moment I prefer to focus on my Bianchi Super Pista (wich is my size also)
But why not for another De Rosa..

Well done! The Record seatpost would be perfect, but the current seatpost also fits the build nicely
Not sure if the trend is still there but I imagine flat-wide bars would look sick on this bike
Also, don't want to scare you but I remember talking with a couple of cycling coaches and they mentioned these Victoria forks as being unreliable (road and track). If you ride it a lot it might be worth regularly checking if there are no cracks developing on it especially around the crown-steerer joint. On the other hand you can see many Victoria frame-sets being used with original forks with no issues. If it has survived cycling schools, maybe it proves to be reliable and only some of them were defected? Or just abused too much hence the breakages? I am just speculating

Dibs on the Concorde if you ever where to sell it.
Insane whips!

@remrak Yes the carbon one was okay, had a titanium flite seatpost currently but I think the record will definitively suit it better..
Also what about a C-rec crank and a 28/32 c-rec low flange hubset.. ?
About the frame itself, I bought two (one for a friend, and mine) and inspected both, nothing to signal at the moment. Frame is light, super stiff, and fork accuracy is good..
At least, at the moment..
@Thrust it’s a shame I hadn’t build it yet, this one hard to get, rare Pokémon, not sure how to dress it..

Just came across this photo in which you can see a massive number of Victoria track bikes. I believe the photo was taken at the outdoor velodrome in Klaipeda, Lithuania
The amount of Pinarello Dyna Pista is impresive too. More photos here:

@remrak Whoo thanks for the tips ! Mine is probably one of those pictured. I got it from a Lithuanian national coach in charge of Junior athletes. He said they are Ex national team frameset, offered by the federation to a club, using them to help local kids race on track, as most of them cannot afford a proper track frame..
From my « research » the framebuilder now works under the name « Wittson »
But any input or info are welcome.
Anyway, I love the frame for what it is, the welds, straight forks, short seatstays, slightly LoPro geo..About the Concorde, unfortunately no progress at the moment. Not decided on the build yet (Campy, or maybe full Suntour Superbe ? Or HHSB Chris King, Phil Wood etc etc ? The thing is, in the past 12 months, l haven’t dedicated that much time/money in bike.. Hope to do better in 2020..
@fizzy.bleach ahah, I’m always amazed how much this bike turns heads (including mine)
It’s hard to explain but it really has that little twist/thing that catch me. Maybe the weird paintjob combined to frame construction/tubing.
Still in fast cruiser configuration with steel fork, 6400/7600 parts and matching yellow SLR..
