Anyone got a small Brian Rourke track frame kicking about they want to get rid of? 50-52cm?

One on ebay at the moment

Quite aggressive geometry might be too big -

Seen that one already, its built for a 26" front wheel annoyingly

That is nice. And fortunately too big for me. Like the latest Rourke logo, but they need to rethink the headbadge to go with the downtube logo.

I agree, the badge goes well with the older Brian Rourke decals.
The painted design looks much better especially with the raw details on the stainless frames.
Image taken from blue whippet Instagram page.
I'm sure they could do a different font in store. I believe they print there own transfers.

My 953 has the newer downtube decals and the BR logo front and back and I think it looks grand.
Has this out for 3 rides recently. Shit it’s such a lovely bike to ride.
Genuinely love it

Forgot all about your reggae bike, still looking good. Think the 853pro needs to have the white cut out around the lettering, that would look better. Do Rourke offer a metal headbadge?

Fucking love Rourke. Owned a couple of second hand jobbies, always ride so well.
Telling that this thread is 7 years old and stretches to 11 pages. Maybe because they don't do stainless headtube badges 🤣

Geoff moorhouse offers white metal headbadges. Pretty much the exclusive supplier to most uk framebuilder. Shame rourke dont to brazed on stainless.
But if i was interested i would get one soon Geoff has shown that he wants hand on the business or wind it up.
The badge fits exactly over the transfer. Bit of double sided tape and it's done.

For £400 ono on the rourke website.
A renovated stealthy beast. Bargain, and open to offers. Currently obsessed with BR. Blacked out headbadge too.

That'd look better than the sticker. Should be standard on a custom frame, just adds that little something that a sticker lacks.
Oh, and phew again, that Rourke is the right size seattube for me, but way too long in the toptube. You're gonna have to stop this, one will be my size and then what would I do? -

What a beaut. My first Rourke was similar: second hand fixie in 853, red, Tig and with that slightly sloping tt.
And best Rourke decal too

Nice spec
Do the forks have mudguard eyes or are they a later addition to the frame?
Does it have ritchey drop outs?
-
• #273
When ordering the Rourke I originally wanted the Columbus Hiver fork, but it was out of stock with a long lead time so I ended up choosing the Easton fork.
It does have rear ritchey dropouts.

Maximum £100 and I’ll take it off you and do you a favour :-)
Very nice frame in all seriousness and my size. Post a price if you can work one out -

It’s a lovely frame
Shame about the forks from my buying POV, may still be interested pending price as the sizing is nearly bang on
Love the new paint jobs rourke is coming out with..... getting tempted to respray mine.
