What kind of tubing does it say on the Columbus sticker?
-
• #2104
What colour is it really? That beige is a lot nicer than the babyshit brown in the other picture

The set of stickers is not original because I have been looking for news about the model for more than a year but have not found anything.

What Tijs said.

It's mustard brown.

You're right, I was thinking of Olmo

The real question is: Why on earth did you paint it brown?
-
• #2113
I like it. Just not a fan of matchy painted stems though ever.
Black stem and get rid of that weird spacer setup and thatβs a pretty nice turd coloured bike.Edit: silver stem, black bar tape.

Rep for the no fucks given sora too.

I donβt mind it, Got interesting tubes for a steel frameset imo. Would also go for the more boring options of black (quill or steel ahead if you must) stem, black seatpost, all black tyres, black bar tape.
Maybe thereβs a nice cable colour that you could maybe pair with the mushroomy brown of the frame.
Do what you want though, only gotta please yourself (obviously) ;-)

This looks like it could be a Dario Pegoretti built Pinarello. Definitely steel - possibly Columbus Max tubing. Lots of similar qualities to a Pinarello Maxim, but yours could be custom made with a different down tube. In which case this would be a 1993 model - usually adorned with Campagnolo Record and the likes
Either way it is certainly very rare so take good care of it :)

I love the way this has gone from 'what the hell is that?' to 'it could well be a peg!'

The world is topsy-turvy right now.
We're about to prove, you can indeed polish a turd.

^ Bangin' Saeco that. I need a stem ID though.

Also, a saddle ID as it turns out.

Black on black zipp
"beyond black"
Pinarello Paris frame is definitively aluminum though (with a steel fork).
