Depends on the rider and the course obviously but some of those tracks are steep so I think angles are at least as important as travel. Which one are you thinking of doing? I had half an eye on entering the EWS100 in Olargues.

Depends of course on C19, but I was looking at a round in France that I now cannot find on the EWS site, annoyingly.

I have to admit that I'd like a chance to do the run myself a few times before committing to it at race speed.
