But the price comment by dangerholm, I kind of agree with.
But then Hope brakes look to be manufactured in a similar way as the trick stuff brakes? Machined alloy. I understand trickstuff brakes are produced in much smaller numbers but does that really justify such a massive price increase?

I feel that the 9 month lead time for their brakes is also deliberate to help keep the brakes feeling so exclusive and also justify the price a bit.

Does any one with an understanding of the economics of producing CNC machined parts like these brakes, would the lower production runs really drive up the cost so much?

Anyway this is maybe going a bit off thread here.
