I was also nearly tempted to get set for my dh bike.
Not that long ago, through the comments on dangerholms insta, I'd seen him mention that there were a few sets available from trick stuff with a discount and available for delivery immediately. I forget exactly what it was but was something like the anodising colours not being right and were being sold on cheaper than usual.
I really wanted a set. But it really is bonkers money for brakes. I'd read dangerholm talk about the price saying how people spend £1k on suspension forks now and its considered ok so then why not that sort of money on brakes?
The answer is very obviously because a set of Code RSC or Saints cost £200-£300 brand new if you shop around. Less second hand.
I have Code RSC on my dh bike and two other mtb's. I've messed about using a non standard bleed procedure that gives minimal lever throw and they feel wildly powerful.
Its hard to imagine how the trickstuff could really feel that much more powerful.
Would love to have a shot on them but I've yet to ever meet anyone with a set in real life.
