Ordered the Logitech K380 Bluetooth keyboard a week or so before I started WFH, having seen it was Wirecutter's choice.
Can be paired with three devices, it's similar in size to the older Apple Magic Keyboard and comes in at around forty quid. Would recommend if you did choose to go wireless.

Raise your seat, your elbow should be higher than your wrist
(I had/have the same issue)

Checked and nothing useful. Sorry.
Almost went for the Logitech K380 as I was looking for something that would work for my Raspberry Pi and laptop. But then got the RPi keyboard because it's got extra USB ports and I have the zero.
Then was weighing up going a something% sized mechanical one vs a full sized Logitech but struggled as I actually like having a number pad and wasn't sure about a noisy keyboard.
Basically I want the moon on a stick:
- Wireless
- Compact as possible with number pad and at least five F keys and no stupid extra keys
- Mechanical, but not noisy
- Backlit, but not psychedelic virgin colours
- Not too shit or plasticy
- £50
- Wireless

This is v tasty. Are you going to get a monitor too for ease of reading? Think you should treat yourself

Way ahead of you... this one arrived today.
Also attached a power strip underneath to tidy up the cable situation.

Bit disappointed you haven't chased in the wiring, replastered, repainted to have the plug tucked up in the back under the window.

Man that makes me jealous! Keyboard and mouse ID?

Want to come round and tidy mine up?
Thanks in advance

Doesn’t sound like an essential journey I’m afraid.

I was going to suggest attaching the extension to the table leg to hide it, but of course the legs extend...

Yup. Thought about it. It’s possible with the height I have I set to as a standing desk, but the full height, which is useful for sorting out under the desk won’t work.

...well embedding a video quickly is clearly beyond me.
But the search term you want is pocket compressible corrugated extendable tube hose. No idea if you can get it in tiny diameters. But you could then use these
to run cable ties and secure the piping to the back of the right leg. -

Nice one thanks. Remember where you got the keyboard from?

• #394
Do you find the height of the keyboard an issue at all?
-
• #395
Not personally but I know some people do. Wrist rest would solve that though.

A friend advised me of a way in which to liven up Zoom meetings.
In a quiet moment, just say in a clear voice:
"Alexa, play Smoke on the Water"
and sit back and listen while half a dozen devises start to play.

If you prefer, "Tragedy" works well in place of "Smoke on the Water"

"Alexa, self destruct" is my daughter's favourite.
"OK Google, delete all photos ..... confirm"
Any solutions for pointy leading edge of desks? I tend to rest my forearms on them, and think it isn’t helping the nerves in my wrist.
