Just don't give him a clue as to where your door is.
Tsk. Clues shouldn't be hidden, they should be out in the open. Tsk.

I’m irritated that it rained and the plants are sheltered. Who thought this through?

Exactly my thoughts!
Been enjoying the recent tag revival.

I rode past these a couple of hours ago and wondered if they'd been tagged. If only I'd checked in here today

Here's a little article on the hummingbird mural in Bouverie Road (off Stoke Newington Church Street):

New; if it's a retag it's not on the map. Clue: it was built in 1875 and is the largest one outside Wales.
It's the view rather than the structure.

Meet you there half past 6 perhaps? ;)

I am assuming it's not a lack of clues stopping people here. But if you need another one - it was originally called The Devil's Ring and stood at the entrance to the Crystal Palace.

Just went and tagged this, got home and... no picture.
Inexplicable.

I hope I've tagged the right thing as I could not get much joy from @WillMelling clues.
According to Wikipedia:
The Victoria Embankment's construction started in 1865 and was completed in 1870 under the direction of Joseph Bazalgette

Good stuff. My clues were a little too factual, perhaps.
Clue for this one? -

CP is on my doorstep, and I've always had an interest in all matters CP.
I've never heard of the Devil's Ring at the entrance.
Would you care to elaborate pls? -
• #21871
Well done, Chas, but could you perhaps try uploading the pictures to the forum? I see them with massive Photobucket watermarks all over them.
It may need a few tries, but I think uploading tag pictures here is the best idea. We've lost lots of them from external picture hosters.

Will may mean at the Crystal Palace's original location, not Crystal Palace Park. Or it may have been a joke.

Funnily enough, my interest in CP isn't confined to the one which was in Sydenham. I've equal interest in the one which was built for the Great Exhibition in Hyde Park..
Did you know that the three main contractors for building the one in Hyde Park were Fox, Chance and Henderson. Chance eventually became Chance Pilkington. Care to make a guess which part of the building Chance dealt with?
The catering contract for The Great Exhibition was won by a little known company owned by a guy called George Schweppes. He of slimline tonic fame :)I know.
I ought to get out more. -

The casino?
I know.
I ought to get out more.At least all the crystal allows you to see outside. :)
There are two clues hidden there. Please don't bang on my door.
