Just picked up this 1978 HM Eames DSS-TA for a mere $20. Still has it's original delivery date label on the bottom which is great. I’m very pleased with it. I'd been looking at yellow Modernica shell's (because I want that original, bad for the environment, totally non-recyclable resin recipe, which HM no longer use) but at this price, it was a no brainer to get this and put another base on. Slight shame about the exposed screws but I’ll get over it. Gonna put a rocking base on it and put it in the living room I think. The yellow is still incredibly bright given it’s age which is great.
