  • Now teaching you to suck eggs ;)

Get all the corrosion from where the seals sit, right in to the right angles of the edges. Used to have a special bit of hardened steel for the job. Tokico calipers are buggers for that.

Oh and make sure the seals are the right way round, correct side facing out.

Took a Dremel with a mild abrasive brush to remove the corrosion. Shit was flying out everywhere. The inner seats were ok, but the outer seats have a shallower outer lip so they get caked. Red greased it all, and the pistons went in silky smooth.

@jambon SNAP! Been doing some digging and immediately balked at the running costs of a VFR, even a mini one. F series Hondas and old gsxrs seem to be the best bang you can get.
I can see now why Mini twin racing is so popular. It's the cheapest with highest returns.

I do want to make it a thing as going WOT on the street doesn't have the appeal anymore. I mean, even if not racing competitively, couple of days a month with two hour sessions going all out still sounds satisfying to me.

That ZXR rider is a fucking madman. Going all out with that front shimmy!
