Well by all means pencil me in! I'm in no rush and I'm happy to wait however long!
Ideally I'd love a quartersawn (maybe roasted) fat Tele neck, 21 fret and vintage specs to go on my planned pine Jazzcaster (or Telecaster, the plan is in its infancy and open to change...) but I'm in no rush for it really!
Yeah - that's one of mine. I had a fox living on my workshop roof at the time, so used him for my inlay... It was the first bit of inlay I tried - it's crude, but relatively close to a fox I think (or maybe a horse...:) )
I'd seriously be delighted to make something for you, that kind of 'commission' is exactly what I'm working towards being able to do eventually.
But I don't think I'm quite there yet - my setup isn't good enough yet, so at the minute I tend to get necks properly dressed, and also I only get a couple of hours a week so it would take a really long time to finish.
However, I want to finish this one for myself, then I promised a TV yellow LPJ to a mate...
After that I'll be out of space and my semi thought through plan is to maybe build a few at a slow pace for the cost of the woods for anyone interested and who can give me really good feedback on them.
