    All Shimano product has manuals (and exploded views [EV] for spare parts). Nearly all of them from about the mid 90s onward are available online. They have gone a bit nanny-state lately, so you have to use the dealer manuals [DM] to get any useful information, because the service instructions [SI] which are delivered with the product now just say "For service, take it to a dealer" 🙁

    Shimano have probably gauged the state of average cyclist mechanical competence correctly, which is what's sad about it.
