• Hey guys.

Bough this off @Vince a couple years ago and haven't used it much so it's up for sale now.

Same specs as when I bought, apart from almost new schwalbe marathon plus 700x28 tyres which I added.

This is a 1979 pink Mercier bike, handmade with Columbus Aelle tubing, 54cm square so good for someone around 5ft8.

54cm, centre to centre, for both seat tube and top tube

The original deep pink colour is still intact with very minimal scrapes and marks and no dents. Slight pitting to the forks. Very good condition, never crashed.

    • Gearset is 2x5 speeds with Solida cranks / Simplex RD / Sach Huret FD / Atom freewheel / new-ish cables fitted
    • Brakes are CLB centre pull with new-ish cartridge pads at the front
    • Wheels are Normandy hub on steel rim at the back, a modern Rigida rim at the front for greatly improved braking in the wet. Tyres are almost new schwalbe marathon plus 700x28.
    • Cockpit is 80mm quill stem on 40cm bars with Shimano Exage Motion A251 aero levers (great hoods), wrapped in white tape
    • Saddle is a good San Marco Rolls in white

Handlebars could be wrapped, and whilst cleaning I have just noticed a slight crack in left hand brake cover, nothing serious at all though.

Looking for £175. Based in East London.

    Thanks.
