Help Supply PPE to the NHS

Posted on
  • My dad has closed his sail making business during COVID and is helping cut and make various bits of PPE along with a broader volunteer support network.

We have completely re-purposed our sail loft to cut and make PPE to help the NHS at several levels during the COVID19 crisis.

Our computer cutting facility is cutting hospital scrubs free for local volunteer groups to sew.

We are making and distributing full-face visors for GP surgeries, Care Homes , In-Home Carers, including free visors for Registered Carers and Hospices.

Your help will cover the cost of essential materials and distribution costs . The more we raise the more we can do to help fill this urgent need.

Any support or sharing very welcome

  • My wife is currently making scrubs. Three tops finished, now making the trousers.

I think as a hobbyist she is realising that it is taking far too long.

  • All the power to the hobbyists and enthusiasts.

As a collective I think there is a great deal that can be done, even if it might feel the individual effort is small. Especially with the support of SME's / light industry.
