I'm starting to realise that no matter how much I want to like my caad10 its maybe not for me.
It sure does feel stiff but like you say, I feel everything is just directed straight to the saddle.
Is the caad12 that much more comfortable? Caad10 is first alloy frame I've rode for years and thinking going back to carbon is the best option

Caad12 disc remains the best riding frame I’ve ever owned. Having ridden CAAD 4, 7, 9. They all feel stiff but the 12 really felt like it transferred that stiffness into forward motion rather than vertical into the saddle
I think it’s in the tubing rather than the geometry. The chainstays are heavily shaped and wide for all that lateral stiffness, vertical compliance bsns. And the BB area is very stiff with the flared seat tube.
