Also the blue tubing. Everyone seems to use it, am I missing something vital knowledge? Where does everyone get it? Should probably ask at my allotment shop, they might stock it.
Any tips for soil testing? Feel like I should get a bit more serious about soil health this year. Pretty sure ours is shit.
Got purple sprouting broccoli and dwarf beans today in to beds today. Plot finally starting to look a bit closer to what we want to happen. Weeds going crazy again already though!

Blue tubing is MDPE water pipe, comes in 2omm, 25mm, 32mm and evening bigger. I use mine with straight backs.

As Sam W says it’s mdpe pipe. If you check gumtree/Ebay/facebook etc you can usually get it pretty cheap if someone finished a job. Otherwise Screwfix seem to sell it at a fair cost.

It’s water pipe. Screw fox do it for about £20 for 50 metres I think.
It’s good to have around for frames to clouchs etc etc

I learned today that neighbouring Garlic inhibits Asparagus growth, which is a shame as my Garlic is by the Asparagus. Got another 4 spikes though.
In other news I started building the frame to net my fruit area, and discovered the Bindweed Hellmouth. #pagingbuffy
