If you can find the forms from a Cube they're an excellent match and a great upgrade: this is mine fore I pained it.
I should get round to selling it really....

Is that looking down to the mosque on Hornsey road? I forget what that road itself is called.

GRX600, uses the 800 series rear mech anyway. Brakes are mega, shifting is great.
Remember 2nd hand you’ve got chain, cassette, cables, pads etc etc it’s often a false economy.

You can ask, but you might want to count to ten first.

Oh amazing, I remember seeing this in your CP thread and thinking it was rad. Didn’t dig back to find out what frame it was, so happy coincidence I ended up with one. Had been idly contemplating a respray for mine, not so idly contemplating it any more.

Since everyone’s building fixies again. Reynolds 631 iro Angus frame. I almost sold it on eBay but the guy didn’t pay.
Decided to build it up and had everything apart from a front wheel and some 32s which just fit in. The gap at the top of the fork is about 1mm. Just took it out for a ride then, handlebars are ridiculously narrow so looking for something wider and it’s geared a bit too high so will put a bigger cog on.

Will be building up a new bike the coming month. The frame finally arrived at the LBS. been waiting since september, but delays delays... it’s a rando bike with clearance for 700c 47mm (initial plan is 38mm file thread). Decided to give it a nice set of wheels and a son hub. It will also get a carbon fork. Top candidate atm is bombtrack ext v2.
I am now trying to decide what route to go when it comes to groupset. Wheter to source second hand parts, shifters, mechs and a crank set.
Plan is 2x10/11 but would like a clutch mech for the ability to go 1x if I’d like.
After looking around the local classifieds it seems going for used stuff would save about 200£ So its not a huge save. This involves using the WI crankset from my marin, which i really like. But can’t find NW 40t big that fits its bolt pattern. So would limit it to 2x.
Second hand would mean mechanical discs, which i kind of like for servicing on the road/ at home. Also like the look of the brifters more.
If i got a new groupset I figured GRX600 would suit the bill. GRX810 is another 120£.. but then it really turns into an expensive bike in my world. Then theres no denying it :-) What speaks for GRX is the fact that it would be sort of hassle free which is also worth something.
Dont really know what to ask for, help?
