Title refers to a local colloquialism used to refer to these kinds of cheap and heavy (but reliable) dutch bikes. Got this particular "Stålhästen" branded hi-ten bike from the local classifieds with the intention of turning it into a slow any-weather commuter.
The bike is pretty low-end all around, with a crappy looking paint job and what looks like a slight bent fork and unreamed steerer tube (?), making stem adjustment quite difficult. I modified it slightly to better reflect my immediate needs, including taking off the chain guard, as it ended up being a nuisance.
Apart from small issues here and there, it seems like a solid coaster-brake beater.
