Pizza

My takeaway of choice in Durham used to do a kebab calzone which consisted of tomato sauce, cheese, doner kebab meat, chips and garlic sauce all folded nicely into a 15 inch pizza. Then topped with cheese and kebab meat with chips on the side. I miss it.

Anyone who had pizza in Sweden knows what I'm talking about.

Anyone in Sweden is just drunk all the time, so anything with some sort of bread, grilled meat and garlic is appreciated.

Your national treasure was stolen from a kebab/pizza place on Hull Road in Hessle then. At the age of 16, not having to choose between a nasty pizza or a nasty kebab was mind blowing.

Edit - might sound random but does anyone have a recipe for kebab shop chilli sauce?

My Swedish partner's father passed away this morning. they ordered kebab pizzas this afternoon in commemoration, they couldn't finish it all so my 4 year old niece suggested laying it at Grandad's grave, cried simultaneous tears of laughter and sadness, skål Gert Fransson!
