Decals date it to y2k, R600 or equivalent. R800 and above would have been a caad4 with a different fork.

Ha, I’ve got an Ultegra disc group sitting about.
Need to work out what BB I need, is there a reason they never have Shimano cranksets? -

Ha ha oh you

I have a spare Praxis conversion BB I don't need anymore, let me know if it's of use

This is going to be a headache right?
I’m relying on you guys to see me through this!! -

just get a praxis, super easy to install and remove for service. no brainer imo. unless you are building a WW.
the C-bear will save ypu weight but as its a true pressfit, less easy to self- service if that is not your thing -

For 2018 BB30a is that what I need for Shimano?
Also how much are you after?
This is starting out as a vagabond project -

Nope, budget is the name of the game

The “a” makes it even more fun

This!! I was really after a CAAD but I’ve got a bit carried away
-

Ah well spotted re the decals! Many thanks
Now, are there any differences in the R(x)00 to R(x)000 frames or was that just to reflect the quality level of compnents?
-
• #12415
no judgment. anyway, praxis bb30 or bb30a adapters are really just the same, the left side pops out a bit less on the bb30a to make up for the frame's bb shell assymetry, that's all.

It's a BB30 one for HT2 cranks, couldn't tell you if the 'a' makes a difference or not
-
• #12417
I’m sure there was a project thread for a team green disc hi mod, can anyone link it?

I'm really struggling with working from home now that I have this glistening in the sunlight out the window.

The ‘a’ makes no real difference to the BB. It’s a regular pressfit but 5mm wider. Just fitted a Sram PF after buying a hi-mod frameset the other day. Spent ages trying to work out what I needed... a standard PF was it!

Don't really care about the ceramic bearings, but the c-bear bb in my Supersix has been silently spinning smooth af.

Cannondale fans..
I have finally got a hollowgram SI crankset for my supersix. Currently got a standard five bolt spider on it, but I’ll replace the chainrings next month. Would you...
1.) Go for Praxis chainrings and not change spider (https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Praxis-Works/Buzz-Road-Chainrings-110BCD/2HVY)
2.) Get the one-piece hollowgram chainrings
https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Cannondale/Spiderings-Kit-Chainrings/FO4BWeight seems pretty similar, so it’s a toss up between shifting quality and looks...I suspect the praxis would offer better shifting but the cannondale chainrings look better...

The only reason I joined the club is to be one step closer to the spider chainring...

They both look good and they both work well. The ‘ring is less hassle if you have the lock ring tool and access to a bench vise
You didn't mess about!
