So the bonded courier turned up....

Can't help but smile at the fact the trust is called 'Tulip'.

Turns out it might be more like Santa Claus than gold

on blockchain.com, if i've forgotten my password and mislaid my 12 word recovery, then i'm out of options, right?

Checked all the Post-It notes stuck to your monitor?

Could be 50 bazillion now if the last time you looked was like 8 years ago

That's a very good comparison to be sure. :)

Who are people buying bitcoin through? Which do you find the easiest to use?
Just dipping my toe into the waters so am googling places but would like some recommendations
Thanks

my parents are 80 and 87. They have money invested in premium bonds and some long held shares.
last week out of the blue my mum Whatsapps me (yes, she can use that) and said "what about this bitcoin? is it worth buying some. can they be sold immediately when you make a profit? your professional advice please...*."
Where do they get this shit from?
(Rhetorical question, I've no doubt she's read it in the oft-quoted D*ily M*il) .
*I'm not a professional advisor just someone who has spent a lifetime working in a bank.

Email or targeted adverts online.
Rhetorical question
Oh ok :)
Now is the time for power of attorney
-
• #1163
Yeah I've had them (health and financial) for both parents for a few years now. Just waiting for that time when I need to enact them.

ok so i have found my 12 word recovery phrase, but on the blockchain site it says this:
Recover Funds - You should always pair or login if you have access to your wallet ID and password. Recovering your funds will create a new wallet ID
Is there a way to just get a new password instead of having to recover funds?

Just re-read this thread. The shock of BTC reaching "£160!!!!1!" is mad. Wonder what another seven years will bring... The MicroStrategy buy will likely have a lot to do with where we get to.

Bitcoin has been on some run the last week, if only I had more.
This time next year we’ll be millionaires

Yeh is crazy, everytime a big sell wall goes up it gets eaten up, someone with deep pockets is doing some major buying
-
• #1169
I think there will be another big crash personally, it seems like a total bull run. If you have money though and you can flip really quick it’s easy money!
-
• #1170
They'll be a big correction no doubt but what? A 50% dip from here and we'd still be at 15k USD, fun times
-
• #1171
Yeah that’s the thing, i mean it dropped what 75 percent in march but fixed itself relatively fast. Yeah 15k is still decent, I think long term it’s defo one of the more stable ones. Coinbase is stopping XRP on its site in a few weeks, not that I’ll be buying it again I don’t think although I did buy some at 12p recently and made a decent return on what I bought.

Hardly life changing but my £250 when we hit silly season a couple of years ago is now £670.
Still don’t know what the fuck is going on.
Might sell and buy some wheels... -
• #1173
Be worth even more today, over 25k it’s up this morning. This is unreal, I’m tempted to sell what I have soon but I’ll probs just hold
-
• #1174
Where's the best site to sell?
-
• #1175
I use Binance
Seeing you are on the first page of this thread buying, I hope you are off to retirement
