I'd forgotten how much of a headache car ownership is.
So far I've bought and fitted the following for the 182:
This car has all the bad points of classic car ownership, with none of the benefits - it's a Clio!
Wishing I'd held out and bought a mk2 Golf.
You would have done all the same kind of stuff with a Golf and you would have spent way more to buy the car in the first place.
Once you get out and use this, you'll realise the work was worth it. If not, fix all the little jobs and I might be tempted to buy it hah!
I find this with every 2nd hand car (and i'm sure it's worse for some people e.g @Dammit) but i always end up doing a mountain of jobs on them at first before you really start enjoying owning them.
