Most of the riders I know are doing runs for people stuck at home. Obviously they could carry more with a car, but that wouldn't be as fun.
My tax was due at the start of this month so have SORNed. Luckily I have a bizarre driveway/car park set up going on at mine so I can keep the oil moving without hitting the public highway.

Never fixed mine, and been sorn since winter. Letting insurance run, its like £89 a year or something, not worth the phone call and whatever their cancellation is.
Don't have a problem with it, some folk just want to complain about everything though, probably can't change that! Probably has a more positive effect on your wellbeing than not riding it :D

I was doing deliveries for the local charity, hence the bags on the sides. Roads are nice and quiet, but already getting busier again, and the only cars out are driving faaaast.
Been hitting some byways/green lanes maybe once a week as alternate routes to/from an essential journey. Just cos it’s a detour on a fun potholed gravel track doesn’t mean it’s not essential travel. The advice says essential travel, not shortest route.
To be honest I have tried to cut down the riding to a few times a week, but since setting the mtb back up and trying to get on the pedestrianised gravel tracks and cycleways it is more dangerous being on a push bike. The shitload of people out and not social-distancing is horrendous. I feel at greater risk having to slow to pass all these people in close proximity.

Who has all been using their motorbike during lockdown then?
Once to pick up printed documents from my folks. It was fucking amazing. Until I hit lights and 20mph zones I did what would take me ~35mins in 15mins.
It was also really odd to actually take corners on sections that I m normally going so slow on that I'm steering. If that makes sense?
Unfortunately there's little chance of my OH letting me out for recreation rides as even that one was protested.

Mine has been languishing since winter kicked in, might have used it once or twice since October I think. Surprisingly it fired straight up when I tried it the day before yesterday.
Took it out today, with Mrs m_v on the back, to grab some shopping for her parents who are isolating and hooked up their new broadband router while we were there (they retreated to another room then we wiped everything we had touched).
Got so many disapproving stares from peds, drivers and bus passengers.
