Midnight Run on Netflix, excellent late 80s buddy/cop/bounty hunter movie.

I don't think it ever got the recognition it deserves and has one of De Niros best performances IMO

Agreed on all counts. One of my favourite genre's and I'm not sure it's been bettered (although 48 hours was a lot earlier). No weak links and a great soundtrack from Danny Elfman.

I also really like The Hard Way (Fox/Woods) in a similar vein but lighter in tone.
