I used to “have” a Clio for work, first version, like a British racing green, can’t remember which engine but will have been a 1.8 or 2.0i or thereabouts. Great cars, comfortable seats (seemed to be a Renault thing), blended in everywhere and it was bombproof. It was also very rapid. One of my all time faves for work.
I'd forgotten how much of a headache car ownership is.
So far I've bought and fitted the following for the 182:
This car has all the bad points of classic car ownership, with none of the benefits - it's a Clio!
Wishing I'd held out and bought a mk2 Golf.
