I am sure some one as already said this but best advice I can give is don't lock up a bike if it would break your heart if it is stolen. I say this having locked my Colnago C40 up in Islington (about 10 years ago) with a mega security £100+ lock for about half an hour (whilst I popped in the pub for a quick pint with my mates) left to find the lock in place half a wheel and bits of carbon all over the place. Basically the bike was cut and stolen for the components. A couple of weeks later the Star forks, components etc were on eBay (I knew they were mine from wear) I told the Police but not interested.
