I sold one of those stems on here a few months back. I think they're quite cool but, be warned, they're heavy. Unless you need something with a very low clamp height (which they have), I'd look at something else (probably with a removable face-plate for convenience). Also the stem I sold was for a 1 1/8" steerer, but that listing isn't clear (just in case you think it's for a 1" steerer, might be worth double checking).
Quill adapters are fine, but just heavier than any other solution.
