So basically the conspiracy tactics then work: I don't trust rich people. That is basically an ad-hominem. If a poor researcher would say "no, just a mutated virus" will you believe them?
What I'd do is read into / go on youtube and listen / read about viruses, how you can engineer one, and find out your -own- burden of proof to determine an engineered one from a mutated one.
Me? I think it just mutated. And I don't know enough on viruses to know how to identify a human created one.
Maybe you can find out a burden of proof for yourself though.
