I've not had anything like that, but my Admiral renewal has just come through (no cheaper obviously). Due to call centre staff shortages they're allowing you to cancel a new policy 30 days after renewal.
We have used the car twice in the last 5 weeks and don't really fancy paying £500 per annum for a car sat on my drive for the foreseeable. Tempted to cancel the renewal (only 4yrs NCB - thx wife)
