Ah the worst they can do is give me a fix it ticket. Not the end of the world.
It is very difficult to get slicks up to temp on the street, practically impossible I'd say unless you're riding like a total eejit. It's only very hard acceleration / braking and high speeds that gets race tyres melty.
Honestly though, they don't need to be - any old tyres work OK cold on dry roads if you pump them up a bit. Can't be arsed to spend 350 on a new set just to go for a little spin.
Sweet Hondas Radiobomb, that old C50 was my first ever bike. I had two, a green one and a blue one. Lovely.
That's quite funny about the stick on headlight, hope you don't get pulled. How do you find those tyres on the road and getting heat into them? Would love a side on shot of the bike.
