I shall go back and read but since im not in the mood of getting off my high horse : ) i will say that im having a very hard time seeing this beeing done systematicly in sweden.
Its automated here afaik. Had a covid test possitive and die within the time frame u go on the list. They track our every visit with health care and what not via our "personal number" from birth.
They do not however test all deaths on healthcare homes. But dont think anyone does that?
Edit: sorry my bad i think i missread the first post i qouted from u.
and my objection was that if they tested possitive they would always be in the statistics but your post never mentioned testing just visit to the hospital. So yeah im sure a few cases of older ppl went home without a test and then died and never made it into the statistics. Had they had a test they would have tho.Our chief of health if u will talked a bit about testing in different countries and said he was sure that sweden would be amongst the top of the countries in regards to how many end up on the list of deaths from covid. He gave some examples but cant recall what they were tho.
Was in an article I posted a couple of pages back, seems to be the case that countries everywhere are playing politics with keeping their declared care home deaths etc as low as possible. I saw an Italian mayor claim that death stats were double the official ones because of the way they had (or hadn't) been counted too.
