    I would say it's crushingly stupid to assume this is the government position. I'm fairly sure the trained, experienced epidemiologists making decisions for us know what they're doing better than anyone here

  • I've read the Times article about what was happening in January and February. Just wondering if you still thought the same.

  • I haven't been paying as much attention to the news over the last couple of weeks but perhaps they fucked it, yeah, and I put too much faith in the system/scientists involved. Or I overestimated their influence in the decisionmaking. I still don't think we will be able to say whether a given strategy was better or worse than another for at least a few months though.

    I was wrong about exercise being banned immediately, that's clear at least. Though not for want of trying by some people I've seen out and about
