Limited how so?
Compared to the other tandem I owned and the few I've ridden the Helios was way more fun and easier to maneuver. Supports a much bigger range of rider sizes too and has a low standover height.
Like without too much hassle I have piloted my wife, wife with a baby pouch, an 11-14 year old stoker, my wife piloted her mother. I think that is amazing for one tandem.

I remember rider weight being limited when we tried our friends'. (I'm a pie.) However, they have the separable one so that may be the cause. They did have to put a lot of thought into getting a gear range they were happy with. The other people we know with one have been tied into the Capreo stuff which really is limiting with the parts availability.
There's probably also a dollop of 'but they don't look right' that I'm willing to overlook when you have the convenience of packing down small.
But so versatile. I think the separable frame is the really killer part of the Circe bikes, otherwise they seem a little limited. Seems you can have it retrofitted for £700.
