Is there a wheel from another bike which would not be the right width and diameter? Don’t know much about motorbike wheels and forks admittedly

Watched this a few mins ago, he comes across really well in these low-key casual videos.

That's amazing Would be up for one with basic backpack straps. Give me a shout when things cool down a little.
@PhilDAS Doable, but there's a few variables that need to be considered which makes it a faff. You can technically fit any wheel you want, but there will be machining of spacers that needs to be done to axle and calipers.
Going with the right one (from other Suzuki's of a certain generation) means it'll just be a bolt on jobbie with no mods. -

Think not riding is getting to me, decided to take the rear wheel out and give the swingarm a proper clean. Also reset the suspension to what's in the manual, I forgot how stiff it is. Realised there wasn't enough fork showing through the top yoke so sorted that too albeit quite sketchily on my own. Hardest part of all of this was putting up with the kids next door screaming for 12hrs straight.

kids next door screaming
Same issue here. I must have music playing excessively loud in my shed, to drown out the mother’s incredibly jarring laugh whilst playing with her spoilt two.
Saving grace is they both manage to injure themselves pretty quick and there’s some respite for an hour while they get molly-coddled indoors.

Nothing against council house tenants but these new ones are something else. I don't know what the socially correct term is but their kids are naughty children. The most offensive blot was climbing the fence, thought it was going to come down. Anyway, very grateful I have a garden during these times.

Our neighbours are the opposite - super not-poor let’s say. Still the shrieking, shouting, hard things hitting the fence all day. I had felt embarrassed about noise pollution from using power tools, but now I just wait til they’re playing then turn on the angle grinder.

The secret is to hang it off the washing line (spiny type), also dangle sheets of metal from the same line, start the angle grinder and set it free! Will merrily clang and clatter off all the pieces of metal for quite some time. Suggests go for a walk/shopping and leave the angle grinder to readdress the noise balance ;)

Not quite that extensive this time, although would like to do that at some point. Best of luck with the frozen swingarm bolt!

Shade tree lighting. All desert riding areas and trail heads are closed lest we give corona virus to a desert turtle.
So I’m popping lights on the race bike for a pootle on the twisties. The back one actually is pretty legit. I have two led strips and a fake stick on headlight decal (a la WSB) for the front. Should be good for a passing glance. Might cut a couple of notches in the Tyres too...
Lock down ennui.

That's quite funny about the stick on headlight, hope you don't get pulled. How do you find those tyres on the road and getting heat into them? Would love a side on shot of the bike.

Speaking totally technically, theoretically, forgetting the sage advice to stick with Pb...
Background 1:
The GN125 is kicking out a healthy 13.5-14V across the battery terminals while idling. There’s little issue with the Pb battery, and I have it running quite well. Hitting the byways/greenlanes has put some strain on the bike, sometimes it is less than happy starting again after being shaken all over the place then turned off to chat/check route. The current Pb is a YB7-A, new a few months back so still good. It’s 8Ah apparently.
Question 1:
There are a few £50-70 Lithium batteries but they are 2Ah or thereabouts (Exide, etc).
If Lithium charges so fast, do I really need 8Ah? Short of a failing stator, why else would I need the larger capacity? Headlights etc draining it faster than it can charge? Background 2:
I am also pulling some extra current, namely some of those mini aux LED’s - I leave these off most of the time but want them on as running lights during the day now. They only pull 0.3A extra, once the others arrive it will be closer to 0.5A or so. I may have even more current draw by the time lockdown is over, if ebay stuff keeps tempting me.Question 2:
What about a smaller lithium battery for these alone?
I don’t trust the lithium ion battery packs I see on ebay, seems like guaranteed fire hazard. I was going to use a smaller Pb I have hanging around but would prefer a lithium. Any recommendations?Bonus question:
I’d also quite like LED headlight to reduce current draw. Gotta fit inside (or replace) the original round headlamp. Any tips? -

Holy shit. That's a hell of a collection. I want a C90 so bad.
Is that a Jetta in the background?

Nice collection
Now that I’ve more or less sussed the design I might make them to order, yea. I’ll have to buy new materials though - thanks to the current situation a lot of my recycled material locations have dried up.
I still have a bit of (prospective) work that people are waiting for, that I haven’t made because of being unwell. I need to get that done so people can pay me! After that maybe I can take new orders.
The back has the various webbing loop points, the bag straps down to the seat by the grab rails or by placing straps under the seat itself. That way you can unclip it on the sides and remove quickly and easily. There’s no carry strap per-se, so it’s not a convertible tailbag/backpack or anything. But that wouldn’t be too tough to add somehow.
Here’s one made from two textile moto jackets (Frank Thomas back panel for front and sleeves for sides, AXO for back) with new cordura lining, for a mate.
