I've always like the four arm cranks on skinny tube bikes. Google brings up some lovely examples.

True but we all crave approval.

All being well its going to get some 'pantographing' so either way it shod look pretty

+1, you can't tell a man how he likes his steak. But those Centaurs are definitely the "well done" of the crank options.
