When buying makita, check the model numbers as some are just specifically for screwfix/b&q but don't think it matters battery wise.
Also check out ffx and ITS as they both have special offers.
There are at least 3 different ranges (LXT, CXT, etc) but within those everything is interchangeable. Different capacity batteries too. I prefer multiple lower capacity as it’s cheaper, significantly lighter and you can keep them in rotation.
