watched What's Up, Doc? with my partner who'd never seen it. Great, fun slapstick comedy, with great performances by the leads, and the second best San Fran bike/dragon/car chase ever

The Invisible Man. I dunno, it was alright, went dumb like they all seem to 3rd act. Meh

Just watched Ad Astra, absolutely loved it. It took its time, wasn't prescriptive and seemed to avoid feeling like another meh Interstellar*
*This is a weird comparison to make, as I guess they're similar in lots of ways, but Ad Astra had a lightness of touch that Interstellar completely lacked, thus rendering a hot pile of dogshit (IMO). Wet sleeping bag Matt Damon cameo lol etc.

Even with the monkey cameo?

Lol, I made that exact point to a a friend. “It’s not as heavy handed as interstellar, and that’s from a movie with space monkeys!”.
