  • First attempt at some Vegan doughnuts last night. Not perfect but happy with them for a first go and know what I plan to change next time around. Recipe called for aquafaba but didn't have any to hand so subbed for flax eggs, didn't grind them enough so some seeds floating around but they look to have worked as a sub so I can correct that next time. The recipe was also to be fried but don't fancy messing around with boiling oil at the moment so used my donut tray and baked in the oven. A bit doughy because of this I think but taste nice and still have some other texture to them so looking forward to experimenting some more.

  • These look great. Will definitely give them a go as well. Looking for a good solid base donut to then mess around with glazes and stuff.

  • I'm so glad you posted this. I used to follow her blog years ago and just forgot about it somehow. Every single single thing on that site looks sooo good!!
