  • so right now the issue is completely gone since moving the drive side out 2.5mm by switching some spacers.

    But while going through setting up the derailleur this morning, as if for the first time, I went back and forth, adjusting the b-gap and limit screws slightly each time to see if any combo would stop the skipping. Nothing made a difference. Finished setting up the derailleur and shifting was perfect.

    This was before I had realised that its a chain line issue. So I don't think the b-gap would really make a difference since its moving the jockey wheel up and down and not side to side.

    edit - hope i dont sound like a smart arse in that last sentence, would like to hear all ideas! very possible i'm misunderstanding all of what the b-gap does
