My hideous AliExpress glasses came today 2 months or so after I ordered. Asked for no branding, got full on fakes but I don’t really care. 3 lenses (blue “prism”, polarised and clear). Lenses seem okay in general, quality seems good.

So were they sat 'ready for UPS for two weeks'? That's where mine are at the moment, and I'm just wondering when UPS are likely to collect. Did you get a new tracking number or did the original one work on the UPS site? I think they might be a bit patchy at the moment anyway as I had something from Mantel arrive yesterday with UPS despite their site still saying they'd 'received instruction' or whatever.

I’m looking at this https://www.lightbicycle.com/U-shape-45mm-depth-Hand-built-700C-carbon-25mm-wide-clincher-road-bicycle-wheels-for-tubeless-compatible.html. Is the bitex hub campy 10s compatible? Probably with a spacer? Any decent?

@user71349 could make you one for a lot cheaper.

I was confused, but if you look at the dates on my tracking the ‘ready for UPS’ message went up just as the wheels were leaving China. So i think UPS was booked when the wheels were sent from China and then only updated again when UPS actually received the wheels in Germany if that makes sense. Actually I found the tracking very accurate once I figured that bit out.
Hope that helps. Good luck with your delivery. If I had any problems I would have contacted Farsports (Wheelsfar) directly, they were incredibly helpful!

Ah ha thank you, that's really useful. I'm looking at this at the moment and it may be that they haven't actually left honkers yet.

My two orders have the same status. I emailed Light Bicycle and they confirmed that both packages are still waiting for a flight.

Ah, that's fine then. I realise it's probably a bit of a tricky time.
I just like to imagine a load of carbon rims hanging about the departure lounge.

I'm in the same boat. I'm sure they are all getting on fine.

I ordered a J&L chainring that arrived quite fast given the pandemic

My Light Bicycle order sent by XDB were 'Ready for UPS' in Germany from 26/3 until 14/4 before getting going again.
The only problem is that the XDB tracing now shows 'DELIVERED[Mailbox]' on 16/4. Given that they were shipped to my work, which is closed and doesn't have a mailbox, I fear there's going to be fun and games about trying to track them down, or establish that they have indeed been nicked by someone.

Email XDB and ask them who was used for local delivery and if they can provide a local tracking number. They were very helpful last time this happened to me.

In a happy ending, I've just spoken to one of my clerks who popped into Chambers today and who says the rims are there waiting for me. I can only assume that the magical properties of Lincoln's Inn somehow came into play. Now all I have to do is wait until I can collect them, which might be a while.

Those chaps in the gatehouse have to do something all day now that pushing the "Barrier Up" button is reduced to a couple of times a day.

LB've been painting my rims for the last 3 days. I guess they know there's no point in rushing a wheelset out the door if there's a backlog in shipping them.

What farrow and ball did you go for?

Paean Black, Railings or Downpipe of course.
In reality I think the painting is shoving a decal on there.

Got a load of ZTTO stuff that is in transit between the warehouse and the airport. My first AliExpress order, I'm finding the tracking details both detailed and vague.
Thanks - they look promising.
