Stems are a bit like saddles - you might need to try a few before you find the sweet spot. And you might end up with a box of stems...which you can probably sell again when you've found The One. I'd go for comfort/the best position for you, over looks. Good luck!

Depends how you find the riding position currently, do you feel a bit too stretched out or too low? Or a bit cramped up?
You could try flipping the stem upside down first, depending on your head tube angle 7 degrees should make it almost horizontal/parallel with the top tube. You could also put some of the spacers above the stem if you want to make it a bit more aggressive.
Those things wont cost you any money first.

Thanks for the detailed response. I feel very slightly over stretched. I’d like to be a little more upright. I’m guessing slightly shorted stem might work better? 90 or 100mm?
Thanks

Based on the picture of your full bike looks like you have a lot of seatpost showing, do you feel stretch by the drop and the reach?
17 degree stem pointing to the sky would be more comfortable, but may not look great to some people. -

Is one thread not enough? Maybe current projects is a better place for these questions
Hi,
Looking to change my stem for something more fancy. The stem I have is 110mm and 7 degrees. Handlebars are fuji track - 42cm wide.
Any suggestions? Deda? Would shorter stem length and less degrees look better?
Thanks guys
