  • Hi,

Looking to change my stem for something more fancy. The stem I have is 110mm and 7 degrees. Handlebars are fuji track - 42cm wide.

Any suggestions? Deda? Would shorter stem length and less degrees look better?

    Thanks guys

  • Stems are a bit like saddles - you might need to try a few before you find the sweet spot. And you might end up with a box of stems...which you can probably sell again when you've found The One. I'd go for comfort/the best position for you, over looks. Good luck!

  • Depends how you find the riding position currently, do you feel a bit too stretched out or too low? Or a bit cramped up?

You could try flipping the stem upside down first, depending on your head tube angle 7 degrees should make it almost horizontal/parallel with the top tube. You could also put some of the spacers above the stem if you want to make it a bit more aggressive.

Those things wont cost you any money first.
