Fucktards riding through parks at 20kph are annoying. There are children meandering everywhere, can't they ride on the roads FFS?
-
• #878
You dont get a pb on a segment doing that
-

Even worse are those on electric bikes going 20mph.
-
• #880
You can only imagine in horror what would happen if their front wheel went ploughing into a kids head.

The category of motorized bikes and scooters needs better regulation - it seems to me they should be banned from parks.
-
• #882
That's probably too hard to regulate. It's either all bikes or no bikes.

Nice vid!

Would welcome this. Got close-passed by an ambulance today ffs.

Someone tried to hold my wheel today. Asked if he was stupid or didn't follow the news, his response pointed towards the first.

where?

Belgium, should have been clearer. I know it's not the biggest deal around atm but it made me angry. Why risk infection for a few km/h's faster average...

Out for a spin at lunchtime - disappointing, felt like any ordinary day: drivers charging about/ bombing it down 20mph residential streets at 30mph+, van drivers conforming to stereotype, and many of the people out I really doubt were on essential journeys.

Feels like a lot of people have given up on staying in when you're out there. Far too many cars

Amusingly large number of riders doing circuits of College Road yesterday evening. The new Richmond park?
-
• #892
I like to think most van drivers are working, delivering and doing essential jobs.
Which makes me feel priviledged for being able to wrok from home and just go out do my excercise/weekly essential shopping, while someone has to keep working and expose themselves and their loved ones to higher risks on a daily basis.
That's how I escuse their close passing, angry driving, courtesy I will only allow during this period. -

Been enjoying this with chonky tyres recently

Saw three separate groups of three riders wheel to wheel on this afternoons ride including one set in matching club kit.
Seemed like a normal amount of traffic on the roads today as well.

Out earlier-along cycle path is mayhem-I had my buff over my face and it was as if everyone else on holiday walking dogs, kids, creating bottlenecks gabbing, jogging by with mm to spare... Will be giving them a hard pass from now on unless very early or late.
Roads actually much quieter and pleasant to be on, potholes notwithstanding, safer in terms of Covid, but then the few cars around seem to be taking the attitude it's their personal racetrack... 🤷♂️

Three up seems to be the trend round here the last few days. Guessing it makes for easier break formation if challenged/ spot polis (fat chance of that, not seen a squad car in weeks.)

I rode around Edinburgh city centre yesterday on roads I’ve avoided for years; bike paths are a shitshow. Probably saw no more than ten folk from Grassmarket to the Royal Mile. Spooky as fuck.

The young lads of elephant and castle are congregating in much larger numbers this week. Just seen a group of 9 walk past my front door.
I suspect, they thought fuck it, if all these deekeds are going out cycling three up, then I'm calling the man dem to go to shottin
