The recent twitter comparison was going by dates of cases in the country not actual date which is why you night feel there is a discrepancy

I was looking at the FT chart up there ^

Seems odd that it's indicating that the UK government are being shown as more stringent than the Irish one. Had a quick glance over the data and one of the measures where the UK scored better was 'Cancel Public Events'.

What is correct?

The dates of the stages of lockdown. The UK brought lockdown measures before Ireland.

Maybe it feels strange to you because Ireland were not as far advanced in their epidemic. I don’t know.
