The memory and CPU in those are soldered. The SSD is replaceable, but it's a non-standard Apple module. There are third party adapters to fit standard NVME modules, but results can be mixed (instability, problems waking from sleep, etc).
So leave it as is? Fine with me!

Reminds me we've got a 2013 that can be souped up with more memory and an SSD.
