  • They look like they were Made in Estonia... 🤭

Aren't Edwins cheaper than that? I'd much rather wear simple Uniqlo selvage than those things, bit fugly... IMVHO, obvs... 🙏

  • Edwins are not so cheap around here, and I don't know, they seem kind of meh as well. Uniqlo just recently arrived in Canada and, like most international brands that finally make it here, offer very limited selection of items, like no selvedge without spandex :(

  • Shipping to Canada is reasonable from Standard & Strange at $15. Not sure on your budget though. Unfortunately Clutch Cafe, who were great for buying from even in the U.S., have changed their payment system to have firm USD and GBP prices instead of GBP that would convert at the current exchange rate. The USD/CAD prices are ridiculously high now so I can no longer recommend them. S&S are really good guys and carry some great brands.

  • Check out The Shop in Vancouver. Run by a super friendly guy and had a great selection when we were over there.

  • late to this but I understand the frustration. I've actually been wearing Uniqlo "selvedge" over the last year or so as I got too 'Henry 8th' like to fit into a pair of N&F Weird Guys and some ED-71's that I've worn the hell out of.

Not sure where in Canada you are but I've been to Dutil here in Toronto quite a few times and their selection is pretty good. Service is usually great and they have a chainstitch machine for alterations/hemming. I think they also have an outpost in Vancouver too if you're closer to there.
